Rivka Rinn

I prefer to deal with the materiality of reality rather than the materiality of the art. My works deal with the phenomenon of our non-awareness of thing we see; more precisely: with the question of our consciousness or unconsciousness of reality. I am interested in showing that a photographic image and a written phase are both visible to us being illuminated by the same source of artificial light. This light sends them an equal level of materiality and makes it possible for us to read the image and simultaneously to look at the written letters.
